Job summary

NG Bailey Group Limited seeks a Defence Information Security Manager (DISM) to lead day-to-day assurance across information, personnel, physical and protective security within the IT Services Defence sector. You will ensure compliance with MOD, government, contractual, NG Bailey and ISO/IEC 27001 requirements while guiding security best practice and supporting secure delivery of Defence contracts.

Qualifications

Experience in protective, personnel, physical or information security within Defence or sensitive environments.
Knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001 and its application to Defence contexts.
Experience developing policies, conducting audits and risk assessments, with clear findings.

Responsibilities

Lead day‑to‑day assurance across information, personnel, physical and protective security for Defence contracts.
Ensure MOD/government, contractual and ISO/IEC 27001 compliance and drive security best practice.
Plan and deliver security audits, assess controls and drive corrective actions to resolution.
Provide guidance on clearance requirements and security risk mitigation for bids and mobilisations.
Coordinate security incidents, reporting and continual improvement of assurance processes.
