Job summary

NG Bailey Group seeks a Defence Information Security Manager (DISM) to lead assurance across information, personnel, physical and protective security within the IT Services Defence Sector. You'll ensure compliance with MOD, government, contractual, NG Bailey and ISO/IEC 27001 requirements while providing expert security assurance and supporting secure delivery of Defence contracts.

Qualifications

Proven experience in protective, personnel, physical or information security within Defence or sensitive environments.
Understanding of BPSS and national security vetting processes.
Knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001 and its application to Defence operations.

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day Defence Sector security assurance across information, personnel, physical and protective security.
Ensure compliance with MOD, government, contractual, and ISO/IEC 27001 requirements.
Conduct site audits, security reviews and risk assessments with clear findings.
Advise on risk mitigation, incident handling and continuous improvement of security controls.
Develop and maintain security policies, documentation and training materials.
Coordinate security reporting to customers and internal stakeholders.
Assist with clearance processes and ensure compliant handling of sensitive information.
