The Defence Head of Security & Resilience (UK-MEA) is responsible for implementing and managing security and resilience policies across the Defence Business in UK-MEA, aligning with strategic guidance from the VP of Corporate & Defence Security.

Responsibilities

As the Defence Head of Security & Resilience, your duties include setting and enforcing security policies across all UK-MEA facilities, managing physical, personnel, data, and supply chain security, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and frameworks.

You will also:

  • Manage the Rolls-Royce Defence Bristol Security Team
  • Promote security awareness and training programs to foster a positive security culture
  • Support investigations related to security incidents involving products or supply chain
  • Implement and oversee supply chain security assurance programs
  • Manage security risk controls for Defence programs
  • Act as Security Controller for UK Defence Business, managing personnel security and insider threat programs
  • Represent the business at security meetings with government, MoD, and regulatory bodies
  • Help develop and enforce security policies and business continuity plans
  • Oversee security personnel and programs at UK-MEA facilities

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent security experience
  • At least 5 years in a leadership role providing security advice and risk solutions
  • Minimum 10 years managing security in strategic, classified UK/US MoD programs
  • MOD security training and experience preferred
  • Extensive incident management experience in complex environments
  • Strong knowledge of resilience, risk management, standards, and governance
  • Experience with electronic and technical security is desirable
  • Physical fitness to operate within large manufacturing facilities
  • UKSV DV clearance required
