The Defence Head of Security & Resilience (UK-MEA) oversees the implementation, delivery, management, and coordination of security & resilience policies, controls, and assurance activities across the Defence Business in UK-MEA, aligned with the strategic direction set by the VP of Corporate & Defence Security.

What you will be doing

Responsible for setting and enforcing security policies across UK-MEA facilities, including BC planning, data and physical security, personnel security, and supply chain security.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the Rolls-Royce Defence Bristol Security Team
  • Promoting security awareness and training
  • Supporting incident investigations related to security and supply chain
  • Implementing supply chain security assurance programs
  • Managing security risk controls for Defence programs
  • Overseeing personnel security and insider threat programs
  • Representing the UK Defence Business at security meetings
  • Enforcing security policies and Business Continuity plans
  • Overseeing security personnel and programs at UK-MEA facilities

Who we’re looking for:

We seek individuals who prioritize safety, integrity, simplicity, and making a difference. Essential qualities include:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent security experience
  • At least 5 years in a leadership role providing high-level advice and risk solutions
  • Minimum 10 years managing security in strategic, classified UK/US MoD programs
  • MOD security training and experience (desirable)
  • Extensive incident management experience in complex environments
  • Knowledge of resilience, risk management, and security standards
  • Experience with electronic/technical security (desirable)
  • Physical fitness suitable for large facility environments
  • UKSV DV clearance required
