Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is recruiting a full-time Cleaner to join our defence, government and energy services team. The role is 35 hours per week, requiring a flexible, hands-on approach to daily cleaning tasks across various sites.

You will be responsible for maintaining hygienic environments, stocking supplies, and working closely with facilities staff to meet safety standards. Prior cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential.

Qualifications

• Brilliant organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Enjoys a hands-on role and flexible approach to working.
• Cleaning experience in a similar role is welcome but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Work with cleaning and facilities teams to keep environments safe and hygienic.
• Dust, sweep, polish, mop and vacuum designated areas to a high standard.
• Ensure surfaces, floors and touchpoints are sanitised regularly.
• Perform additional cleaning duties as required, such as quick spill clean-up.
• Empty and dispose of bin waste and monitor stock of cleaning supplies.
