Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is recruiting a full-time Cleaner to join our cleaning and facilities teams for Defence, contracted to 37.5 hours per week. You will help deliver exceptional client experiences with a hands-on approach and a flexible attitude to duties and shifts.

The role supports 250+ UK military establishments and secure environments, with a strong emphasis on safety, hygiene, and quality service. Prior cleaning experience is welcome but not essential, and you will join a committed,

Qualifications

• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Enjoys a hands-on cleaning role.
• Cleaning experience in a similar role is not essential.
• Flexible approach to working hours and duties.

Responsibilities

• Work with cleaning and facilities teams to keep environments safe and hygienic.
• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping and vacuuming to high standards.
• Sanitise surfaces, floors, windows, and touchpoints regularly.
• Perform additional cleaning duties as required, such as mopping spillages.
• Empty and dispose of bin waste.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies.
