Job summary

Compass Group UK&I ESS is hiring a full-time Cleaner to join our Defence, Government and Energy services sector. The role is 35 hours per week across five days in our facilities teams, delivering safe and hygienic environments for clients and customers.

You will dust, sweep, mop, sanitize surfaces, restock supplies, and support a hands-on cleaning operation across multiple sites. Prior cleaning experience is welcome but not essential; reliability and a flexible approach are key.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning or facilities maintenance is advantageous.
• Willingness to work 5 out of 7 days with flexibility.
• Ability to work as part of a team to maintain hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard.
• Ensuring surfaces, floors, windows and touchpoints are sanitised regularly.
• Performing cleaning duties and restocking supplies as required.
• Emptying and disposing of bin waste and supporting a hands-on operation.
• Maintain organised work areas with attention to detail.
