Job summary

VIVO Defence Services is hiring a Commercial Manager to support the Billable Works team and regional delivery operations on a major Defence contract. You will negotiate inclusions and manage change, monitor costs and cash, and provide guidance across contracts to improve performance.

You will work closely with the Senior Commercial Manager and Head of Commercial, with hybrid working options and a focus on delivering commercial outcomes across high-value projects.

Qualifications

• Experience within a similar industry sector and strong commercial management.
• Educated to degree or diploma level in Law, Surveying, Quantity Surveying, Built Environment, Facilities Management, Land or related discipline.
• Experience managing change, variations, claims, disputes, pricing, subcontractors or contract costs.
• Strong analytical ability and comfortable interpreting complex commercial data.
• Excellent communication skills with customers, operational teams, finance colleagues and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day commercial support to regional delivery teams.
• Partner with the Customer’s commercial team to agree inclusions/exclusions and manage change.
• Monitor costs to support profitability and cash management.
• Offer commercial guidance across the business on contracts, governance and risk.
• Assist with tendering, pricing activity, subcontract orders and payments.
• Identify opportunities for efficiencies and improved contract performance.
