Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Commercial Manager in Glasgow to lead commercial activity on a major defence infrastructure programme. The role is hybrid, with minimum 3 days on site, and a 52-week contract inside IR35 at £70-£80 per hour umbrella.

You'll manage NEC4 contract administration, risk, change control and commercial performance, collaborating with project teams, suppliers and stakeholders to maximise value while ensuring compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Commercial Manager on major infrastructure, defence, nuclear or highly regulated projects.
• Extensive NEC4 contracts knowledge, ideally PSC.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial management of major engineering and infrastructure contracts.
• Administer NEC4 contracts, focusing on PSC.
• Manage compensation events, change control and contractual correspondence.
• Provide commercial advice to project teams and senior stakeholders.
• Monitor costs, forecasts and commercial performance.
• Identify and mitigate commercial risks and opportunities.
• Support negotiations with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure commercial governance and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
