Job summary

Compass Group UK&I ESS is recruiting a Chef to deliver high-quality food for Defence on a full-time basis (35 hours/week). You will lead kitchen operations, implement menus, and drive service improvements while upholding hygiene and safety standards.

The role requires supervisory experience, a Food Hygiene certificate, and a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent. Join a team that values customer service and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

Holding City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent is required.
Experience supervising a kitchen team is essential.
Experience in a similar Chef role is expected.
Must hold a Food Hygiene certificate.

Responsibilities

Prepare delicious, high-quality food for clients and customers.
Oversee and implement menu changes.
Identify opportunities to improve food services.
Listen to customer feedback and improve services.
Assist with creating new menus and concepts.
Represent Defence and maintain positive brand image.
Monitor inventories and maintain hygiene standards.
