Job summary

Compass Group UK&I, ESS (Defence) in the UK, is recruiting a Chef to prepare and serve high-quality food for clients and customers, while upholding brand standards and safety.

You will lead menu changes, supervise a small kitchen team, monitor stock and hygiene, and respond to feedback. A City & Guilds 706/2 or NVQ equivalent and a Food Hygiene certificate are preferred; 5 out of 7 shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service and delivery to clients/customers.
• Ability to supervise a kitchen team and implement menus.
• Food hygiene and safety awareness and practices.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights clients and customers.
• Overseeing and implementing menu changes.
• Identifying opportunities to improve food services.
• Listening and acting on customer feedback to improve services.
• Supporting creation of new menus and food concepts.
• Maintaining brand image and hygiene standards.
• Monitoring inventories and kitchen cleanliness.
