Job summary

Advanced Resource Managers are seeking a Construction Project Manager for a Defence and Aerospace based programme in the United Kingdom. You will lead day-to-day management, balance budget and schedule, and coordinate with contractors and consultants.

A high-security MOD-style environment is required. You will input into project governance, ensure safety and compliance, and leverage MS Office and project management software to report progress to the facilities team.

Qualifications

• : Experience in industrial construction and complex bespoke building projects.
• : Must be able to work in high-security environments.
• : Ability to reading and interpret construction drawings and implement them.
• : Strong knowledge of project management principles and processes.
• : Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Engage and collaborate with all stakeholders for the project
• Manage and administrate the contractor, consultant client meetings
• Ensuring each stage of the project happens on time, on budget, and to a high standard
• Records, monitors, and reports progress regularly to the wider facilities team
• Checks the construction activities meet the accepted brief
• Review, challenge, and accept contractor invoices based on work completed
• Deal with any unexpected problems that may occur during the project or escalates to wider team
• In-depth knowledge of the Construction Industry, procedures and material and project management principles
• Ability to read and understand Construction drawings and the activities to implement them
• Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft office suite
• Good working knowledge of project management software
• A project management certification
• Worked within a high security environment
