Job summary

Millbank Holdings is seeking a Site Operative to support decommissioning, waste management and maintenance in a highly regulated environment. You will work on complex projects alongside experienced teams, following strict safety procedures and using PPE on site.

The role requires hands-on, practical work, strong teamwork and the ability to follow written procedures. Training and development are encouraged as part of our safety-first approach.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working within industrial, engineering, construction, energy, defence or nuclear environments.
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures and safe systems of work.
• Experience using PPE and safety equipment.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills.
• Practical, hands-on approach to work.
• Ability to follow written instructions and procedures.
• Flexible attitude and willingness to undertake further training.

Responsibilities

• Undertake decommissioning, dismantling and operational activities in accordance with approved procedures.
• Support decontamination activities on plant, equipment and facilities.
• Assist with waste management, segregation and disposal activities.
• Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Carry out routine inspections, housekeeping and site maintenance activities.
• Support lifting operations and material handling activities where required.
• Adhere to all health, safety, environmental and quality requirements.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and site teams to safely deliver project objectives.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation where required.
• Participate in training programmes and continuous improvement initiatives.
