Job summary

We are seeking experienced Ordinary Seamen (OS) to join BALEARIA RoRo Passenger ferries on a 4-month ±1 month contract. Embarkation is ASAP, vessel type RoRo Passenger.

You will maintain exterior vessel areas and support the Deck department under the Master’s and Bosun’s instructions. Requirements include proven OS experience on RoRo Passenger vessels, STCW95, Ro/Pax certification per STCW V/2, and OS-specific certifications (II/4, PSCRB, AFF).

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Ordinary Seaman (OS) on RoRo Passenger vessels.
• Lashing experience is a strong advantage.
• All valid and up-to-date certificates, including Ro/Pax certification per STCW V/2.
• For OS candidates: STCW Reg. II/4, PSCRB and AFF are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Maintain exterior of the vessel in accordance with Company Policies and applicable standards.
• Assist Deck department with preparation for arrival/departure, loading and discharging operations.
• Participate in mooring operations and tendering operations under instruction.
• Ensure readiness of lifesaving, fire-fighting and pollution prevention equipment.
• Maintain safe deck watch and ensure vessel remains moored securely.
