Job summary

We are seeking an experienced Deck and Engine Storekeeper to join the luxury cruise vessel Orient Express Olympian. The role focuses on logistical reception, labeling, and organization of all technical stores for both the Deck and Engine departments.

The Storekeeper will manage inventory control and procurement of vessel consumables, provide database support for spare parts, and maintain orderly storerooms while adhering to safety and STCW standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Fitter on board cruise ships.
• All valid STCW certificates.
• Good command of English.
• Valid references and/or recommendations from previous employers.

Responsibilities

• Logistics reception, labeling and organization of all Deck and Engine technical stores and spare parts.
• Manage inventory control and ordering for vessel consumables across both Deck and Engine.
• Provide support to Officers with inventories or ordering of specific spare parts when requested.
• Maintain clean, organized storerooms and update Shipsure database as required.
• Ensure safe handling and storage of hazardous materials in compliance with regulations.
