Job summary

Bernicia Group is recruiting a Decarbonisation Assistant to support energy efficiency improvements for customers in Ashington or Durham. The role involves resident consultation before and after installation, explaining planned measures and potential savings, and working with different Bernicia teams and partners to ensure smooth delivery.

You will need strong communication skills, a customer-focused approach and the ability to use Word/Excel and bespoke systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer facing environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good IT skills with Word and Excel and ability to interrogate bespoke systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure effective resident consultation to Bernicia customers in accordance with PAS2035:2023 pre, during, or post installation of energy efficiency measures.
• Visit customers in their homes pre and post installation to explain planned measures, benefits, potential savings and usage.
• Liaise with Bernicia asset, property and housing teams and delivery partner stakeholders to resolve questions and ensure customer satisfaction.
