Job summary

Holt Engineering in Poole is seeking an experienced Deburrer to join our precision machining team. You will deburr external surfaces, edges and internal features on precision machining components, using hand tools and air-powered equipment.

You must interpret engineering drawings, maintain high finish quality, and work with various materials. Aerospace experience is advantageous but not essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Deburrer in a CNC machine shop environment.
• Experience with CNC milled prismatic components and CNC turned parts.
• Good understanding of deburring techniques, tools and processes.
• Ability to work accurately to engineering drawings.

I am recruiting on behalf of my client, an established precision engineering business in Poole, who is looking for an experienced Deburrer to join their manufacturing team.

• Finishing internal and external threads on aircraft components.
• Using hand tools and air-powered deburring equipment.
• Working accurately to engineering drawings and customer specifications.

• Working with a variety of engineering materials.
• Maintaining consistently high standards of component finish and quality.

What I'm looking for:

• Previous experience as a Deburrer within a CNC machine shop environment.
• Experience working with CNC milled prismatic components and CNC turned parts.
• Good understanding of deburring techniques, tools and processes.
• Ability to work accurately to engineering drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on finished product quality.
• Understanding of different engineering materials.
• Previous aerospace component deburring experience would be advantageous, although not essential.

The successful Deburrer will be someone who takes real pride in their workmanship, understands the importance of precision and consistency, and can deliver the high-quality finish required for demanding engineering applications.
