Job summary

Free-Work UK is seeking an experienced Deburr Operator in Woking to join a modern machine shop that produces high-value components with tight tolerances. You will deburr and finish CNC parts, removing burrs and machining marks to exact cosmetic and functional standards.

You will work with aluminium, stainless steel, titanium or exotic alloys, using a range of hand and powered tools, and reading engineering drawings to ensure customer specifications are met.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Deburr Operator or Precision Finishing Technician
• Background in high-end cosmetic and functional finishing
• Experience with aluminium, stainless steel, titanium or exotic alloys

Responsibilities

• Hand deburring and precision finishing of CNC machined components
• Removal of burrs, sharp edges and machining marks to cosmetic and functional standards
• Use of hand and powered tools including files, stones, scrapers and grinders
• Preparation of components for anodising, coating, plating and assembly

Are you an experienced Deburr Operator or Precision Finishing Technician looking to work in a high-quality precision engineering environment, producing cosmetic and safety-critical components to exacting standards?

This is a hands-on role within a modern machine shop, working closely with Production and Quality teams to deliver high-value components within tight tolerances and strict quality requirements. You will be responsible for high-end cosmetic and functional finishing, ensuring components meet customer-critical specifications.

You will work as part of a skilled team but must be comfortable working independently, using your initiative and attention to detail to achieve consistently high standards. This role offers long-term stability, excellent facilities, and strong development opportunities within a growing precision engineering business.

The Role

• Hand deburring and precision finishing of CNC machined components
