Job summary

South West Recruitment Ltd in Poole is seeking an experienced Deburrer to join a precision engineering manufacturer. You will deburr CNC-milled and CNC-turned components, read drawings, and ensure high quality, finishing threads and marking parts to customer specs.

The role offers £14.00–£15.00 per hour with overtime paid at time and a half. A 39-hour week (Mon-Fri) and a disciplined workshop environment are provided, with 25 days leave and a range of typical start times.

Qualifications

• Experience deburring CNC-milled and CNC-turned components.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Confident using hand tools and air-powered deburring equipment.
• Good understanding of different engineering materials.
• Excellent attention to detail and high workmanship standards.
• Previous experience within a precision engineering machine shop.
• Experience deburring aerospace components would be advantageous but is not essential.

The company manufactures high-quality machined components for the aerospace and engineering industries.

This position requires someone with previous experience deburring CNC-milled and CNC-turned components, working to detailed engineering drawings and demanding quality standards.

The Role

• Deburring CNC-milled and CNC-turned precision components.
• Removing burrs from external surfaces, edges and machined features.
• Deburring internal cross-drilled holes.

What's on Offer

• 39-hour basic working week, Monday to Friday.
• Typical start times between 7.00am and 8.00am, with finish times between 4.00pm and 5.00pm.
• Flexible working arrangements, including the possibility of a condensed working week, subject to management approval.
• 25 days' annual leave.
