Job summary

Bowmill Poole is seeking an experienced Deburrer to join our machine shop in Poole. The role involves deburring CNC milled prismatic components and CNC turned parts to high quality standards, while following customer drawings.

The ideal candidate will have good attention to detail, familiarity with aerospace deburring, and the ability to work with hand tools and air tools to achieve precise finishes.

Qualifications

• Experience deburring CNC milled prismatic components and CNC turned parts to high quality standards.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects.
• Excellent manual dexterity and steady hands.
• Able to follow customer drawings and quality procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deburr external surfaces and edges on machined components.
• Handle internal cross drilling operations as required.
• Prepare internal/external threads on aircraft components.
• Mark final parts per drawing specifications.

Bowmill Poole is currently seeking an experienced Deburrer.

The candidate must have experience in deburring CNC milled prismatic components and CNC turned machined parts to high quality standards. The job role includes (but not limited to):

• The deburring of external surfaces/edges.
• Internal cross drilling.
• Internal and external threads of aircraft components.
• Use of hand tools to meet customer drawing specifications.
• Final part marking.
• The use of air tools for deburring.
• An understanding of aerospace deburring.
• An understanding of different materials.

The ideal candidate will have good experience in a machine shop environment and have a high level of attention to detail and final product quality. Experience in the deburring of aerospace components would be advantageous but not essential.
