Job summary

Omega Resource Group is seeking an experienced Deburrer in Wolverhampton to join a leading aerospace manufacturing team. You will finish machined components via deburring, ensuring parts are ready for flight-critical assembly.

The role operates on a rotating AM/PM shift after completing training on days, with a salary of £42,161 plus a 16% shift uplift. You will work with precision tools and read engineering drawings to ensure finishes meet strict tolerances.

Qualifications

• Experience in deburring, metal finishing, polishing, or precision manufacturing.
• Strong manual dexterity.
• Able to interpret engineering drawings and technical instructions.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
• Experience working on a range of materials and alloys.

Responsibilities

• Remove burrs, sharp edges, and excess material from machined components.
• Perform finishing activities including polishing, blending, chamfering, and radiusing.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and manufacturing instructions.
• Inspecting components using metrology equipment including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and visual inspection tools.
• Preparing components for additional finishing processes such as coating/painting.
• Maintaining deburring tools and equipment.
• Ensuring parts meet exact surface finish and dimensional requirements.

The Role - Deburrer

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Deburrer to join a prominent aerospace manufacturing business.

You'll be finishing machined components via deburring processes, ensuring products are ready for assembly of flight critical equipment.

This role is working on a rotating AM/PM shift pattern following training period on day shift.

Duties - Deburrer

• Removing burrs, sharp edges, and excess material from machined components.
• Performing finishing activities including polishing, blending, chamfering, and radiusing.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and manufacturing instructions.
• Inspecting components using metrology equipment including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and visual inspection tools.
• Preparing components for additional finishing processes such as coating/painting.
• Maintaining deburring tools and equipment.
• Ensuring parts meet exact surface finish and dimensional requirements.
