Job summary

Staffline is seeking an experienced Deburrer in Wolverhampton to finish machined components for flight-critical assemblies. You will deburr, polish, blend and radius contours to exact surface and dimensional specs, preparing parts for subsequent finishing steps.

The role requires reading engineering drawings, using hand and measuring tools, and maintaining tools and equipment. Training on day shifts precedes a rotating AM/PM pattern with generous base pay and uplift.

Qualifications

• Experience in deburring, metal finishing, polishing or precision manufacturing.
• Strong manual dexterity and precision.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and instructions.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools and measuring equipment.
• Experience working with a range of materials/alloys.

Responsibilities

• Remove burrs, sharp edges and excess material from machined components.
• Perform finishing activities including polishing, blending, chamfering and radiusing.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing instructions.
• Inspect components using metrology equipment and visual inspection tools.
• Prepare components for coating/paint and ensure surfaces meet specs.

The Role - Deburrer

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Deburrer to join a prominent aerospace manufacturing business.

You'll be finishing machined components via deburring processes, ensuring products are ready for assembly of flight critical equipment.

This role is working on a rotating AM/PM shift pattern following training period on day shift.

Duties - Deburrer

• Removing burrs, sharp edges, and excess material from machined components.
• Performing finishing activities including polishing, blending, chamfering, and radiusing.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and manufacturing instructions.
• Inspecting components using metrology equipment including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and visual inspection tools.
• Preparing components for additional finishing processes such as coating/painting.
• Maintaining deburring tools and equipment.
• Ensuring parts meet exact surface finish and dimensional requirements.
