• Committed, compassionate and highly organised individual.
• Not necessarily looking for debt advice experience.
• Able to manage a varied and sometimes pressured workload and keen to learn and grow within a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare clients for appointments, assist with case recording and reporting, and provide essential administrative support to the Debt Team.
• Be the first point of contact for clients in crisis, responding with empathy, clarity, and professionalism.
• Support the organisation in delivering high-quality advice from our Mansfield and Worksop offices.

Citizens Advice North Nottinghamshire is looking for a committed, compassionate, and highly organised individual to join our long-established Debt Team as a Support Worker. This is a vital role within our service, offering the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of people facing financial hardship.

Based primarily at our Mansfield and Worksop offices, you will be at the heart of our client journey - ensuring that those who come to us for help receive a smooth, supportive, and effective experience. You’ll be responsible for preparing clients for appointments, assisting with case recording and reporting, and providing essential administrative support to our busy team of Debt Caseworkers.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will often be the first point of contact for clients in crisis. Whether they are facing bailiff action or imminent eviction, you will be trained and supported to respond with empathy, clarity, and professionalism - helping to stabilise their situation before they engage with our specialist advisers.

We are not necessarily looking for someone with debt advice experience. Instead, we value candidates who are confident working directly with clients, able to manage a varied and sometimes pressured workload, and keen to learn and grow within a supportive team environment.
