Job summary

Bishop Fleming LLP is seeking an ambitious Debt Advisory Partner or Director to join our growing Advisory team in the UK. You will lead the Debt Advisory proposition, build and maintain strong lender relationships, and oversee client engagements from advisory to deal execution.

This senior role works closely with Corporate Finance, Audit and Tax, shaping strategy and driving growth. You will manage and mentor junior staff, lead pitches, and contribute to market leadership through networking and

Qualifications

• Significant experience within Debt Advisory or related funding advisory environment.
• Strong relationships across the UK lending market, particularly in the South West and Midlands.
• Excellent commercial, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to build credibility with owner-managed businesses, private equity-backed companies and larger corporate clients.
• Experience of leading client relationships and high quality deal execution.
• Genuine desire to contribute to the growth and success of a dynamic and ambitious firm.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Bishop Fleming's Debt Advisory proposition.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, lenders and funding providers.
• Advise clients on debt raising, refinancing, acquisition finance and related solutions.
• Identify and convert new business opportunities through networks and market relationships.
• Collaborate with Partners across Corporate Finance, Audit, Tax and Business Advisory to deliver joined-up solutions.
• Lead client pitches, funding negotiations and transaction execution.
• Manage and mentor junior team members with coaching and technical guidance.
• Contribute to strategic growth and development of the Advisory practice.
• Represent Bishop Fleming in the market through networking and thought leadership.
