Job summary

Bishop Fleming Chartered Accountants is seeking an ambitious Debt Advisory Partner or Director to lead our growing Advisory team in the UK. You will shape the service line, work with Corporate Finance, Audit, Tax and Business Advisory teams, and help clients secure funding for acquisitions, refinance and growth.

You will develop market presence, build relationships with banks and lenders, lead client pitches, and coach junior staff while delivering high-quality deal execution.

Qualifications

• Significant experience within Debt Advisory, Corporate Banking, Leveraged Finance or related funding advisory.
• Strong relationships across the UK lending market, especially within the South West and Midlands.
• Excellent commercial, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to build credibility with owner-managed businesses, PE-backed companies and larger corporates.
• Experience leading client relationships and high-quality deal execution.

Responsibilities

• Leading and developing our Debt Advisory proposition.
• Building and maintaining relationships with banks, lenders and other funding providers.
• Advising clients on debt raising, refinancing, acquisition finance and related solutions.
• Identifying and converting new business opportunities through networks and market relationships.
• Working with Partners and colleagues to deliver joined-up client solutions.
• Leading client pitches, funding negotiations and transaction execution.
• Managing and developing junior team members with coaching and technical guidance.
• Contributing to growth and strategic development of the Advisory practice.
• Representing Bishop Fleming within the market through networking and thought leadership.
