Job Description

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the continuous operation and management of the firm's MT4 and MT5 systems. Your duties include:

1. Manage and monitor the company's trading books across multiple asset classes such as FX, CFDs, ensuring adherence to risk parameters.
2. Execute trades placed by clients on the trading platforms.
3. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
4. Follow market trends and news related to major trading instruments offered by the company.
5. Monitor systems, price feeds, and client trading activities, investigating suspicious trades.
6. Provide second-level trading support.
7. Communicate with clients to resolve trading or account issues.
8. Generate and analyze trading statistics.
9. Coordinate transactions with LPs, banks, and prime brokers as needed.
10. Develop expertise in FX and CFD trade execution and risk management across regions.
11. Produce reports and documentation as required.
12. Address issues related to quotes, such as freezing or gaps.
13. Utilize CRM systems effectively.
14. Manage issues with LPs and pricing.
15. Inform staff of system or market updates and upgrades.
16. Follow up on technology issues with aggregators and related systems.
17. Switch LPs when necessary.
18. Assist with Metatrader operational tasks, including configuration and markup adjustments.
19. Produce daily trading and reconciliation reports using MT4/MT5 and third-party platforms.
20. Stay updated with financial market information and conduct research.
21. Perform other related duties as required.

Our client is a growing FCA-regulated CFD and FX brokerage with global operations. We are seeking an experienced Dealing & Trading Operations Manager to be based in our London office. This role involves supervising the trading desk and managing operational tasks related to trading systems, offering a high-impact, critical role within the company.

Education and Experience

Skills and Behaviours

Knowledge of multiple asset classes including Spreadbets, CFDs, FX, Equities, and Cryptos.
Degree-level education.
Proficiency with MT4 and MT5 (Manager, Administrator, Trader) is essential; experience with other platforms is a plus.
Knowledge of trading technology such as bridge technology and aggregators is advantageous.
Ability to manage relationships with multiple liquidity providers.
Technical market knowledge is beneficial.
Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with MS Office.
Comfortable with IT and trading technology, including Prime XM.
Willingness to work rotational shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, and occasional nights.
Support the client-facing team with trading inquiries.
Strong team player with good people management skills.
Numerical, logical thinking, and stress resistance.
