Derby College Group is recruiting a Communication Support Worker to join the Deaf Access Team. You will provide communication support to Deaf students within the College and the local community, using sign support and notetaking to meet diverse needs.

The role requires excellent communication, strong organisation, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Candidates should have Level 2 BSL and Level 2 English/Maths, with progression toward Level 3 in Communication Support for

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, organisational and relational skills.
• Understanding of Equality Act 2010 and supporting Deaf learners.
• Experience working with Deaf students in education is desirable.
