Job summary

Cromwell is seeking an experienced Distribution Centre Supervisor to lead a warehouse team in delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a culture of safety. You will drive process development, standardisation, and performance against service and cost targets.

You will coach and mentor team members, ensure SOP compliance, and collaborate with the DC leadership to plan staffing, budgets, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role is based at our distribution centre in the UK.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a Logistics or Warehouse environment.
• Decision making and problem solving at a practical level.
• Moderate computer skills including Excel and Manhattan WMS.

Responsibilities

• Drive a culture of safety by role modelling safe behaviours and reporting risks.
• Lead team to meet service, productivity and quality commitments.
• Coach & mentor teams on performance, safety and quality; ensure SOP compliance and audits.
• Ensure duties are conducted to required standards and completed timely; resolve issues.
• Utilise warehouse process knowledge to resolve day-to-day issues efficiently.
• Coordinate with warehouse management to cover daily tasks and maintain service levels.
• Support DC leadership in budgeting, staffing, overtime, equipment procurement, and maintenance.
• Maintain housekeeping and asset care; report progress against objectives and projects.
• Participate in DC talent reviews and provide input to budget.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and involve all team members.
• Deliver on KPIs such as near-miss reporting, quality, and cost per line.
