Job summary

Sanderson is seeking a DB Pensions Associate in Bristol on a hybrid basis. You will act as the technical expert for customer service teams, resolving complex queries, driving process improvements, and coaching others while ensuring compliance and SLAs are met.

You will contribute to audits and procedure updates in line with regulatory changes, and engage in wider business projects to enhance customer experience and service quality.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of financial products.
• Experience in a customer service or financial services environment.
• BD pensions knowledge is required.
• Ability to analyse information and solve problems.
• Confidence working across multiple systems.
• Experience in coaching or supporting others and continuous improvement.
• Organised, adaptable and customer-focused with a professional approach.
• Good understanding of compliance and regulation.
• Ability to deliver quality service under pressure.

Location: Bristol, hybrid working arrangement

Hours: Full time, Monday-Friday, 37.5hrs a week

My established Financial Services client is hiring for a DB Pensions Associate, based in Bristol on a hybrid basis.

The Role

Acting as the go-to technical expert supporting customer service teams with more complex queries from customers and administrators. This includes resolving technical issues, contributing to projects and process improvements, and helping the team meet service level targets while maintaining high accuracy and compliance. You’ll also play a key role in coaching and supporting colleagues, carrying out quality audits, updating procedures in line with regulatory changes, and ensuring all work meets legal and compliance standards. Alongside day-to-day work, helping identify improvements to processes and customer experience, as well as get involved in wider business initiatives and projects.
