Job summary

Abenefit2u Limited is seeking a Pension Administration Consultant to manage a portfolio of clients within the pensions administration department. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high quality services aligned to client strategy.

Key responsibilities include supervising junior staff, ensuring compliance, maintaining letters, staying updated on legislation, and managing client relationships and billing.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable DB pensions administration experience within a similar setting.
• Excellent technical knowledge and understanding of DB pension schemes.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills across a wide range of audiences.
• Calm and positive in manner; lead by example.
• Ability to manage your own workload and prioritise as needed.
• Genuine interest in and desire to develop others.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing work produced and checked by more junior team members.
• Ensuring all compliance matters are completed in good time.
• Keeping standard letters up-to-date.
• Staying informed on legislative issues and client changes, planning scheme events.
• Taking responsibility for client relationships and building rapport with contacts.
• Managing monthly billing and monitoring project budgets to deliver on time and within budget.
• Attending client meetings and networking events as appropriate.
• Representing the department across the wider business.
• Sharing knowledge with the department and wider business through training and information sharing.
