Job summary

A care home in a rural setting is looking for experienced Support Workers to provide flexible hours across the week for up to 27 residents. You will assist with daily living, personal care, and activities while maintaining high safety standards and supporting individual care plans.

Ideal candidates will have an Enhanced DBS, up-to-date training in infection control, safeguarding adults, moving and handling, and a referenceable work history with at least 3 months in a similar setting.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months.
• Infection control safeguarding and moving and handling training up to date.
• Referenceable work history in care or similar settings.
• At least 3 months experience within a similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities and morning/night routines.
• Support residents with personal care while promoting independence.
• Perform general housekeeping and maintain health and safety standards.
• Report condition updates and document resident needs and preferences.
• Follow personalised care plans and support residents respectfully.

Flexible hours for experienced Support Workers in a beautiful rural location!

We are currently seeking experienced Support Workers to work flexible hours throughout the week at a specialist care home supporting up to 27 residents.

The service focuses on individuals with mental health conditions and complex needs, so it is essential that you are attentive, compassionate, and committed to following personalised care plans that ensure each resident feels heard, respected, and supported.

Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities such as morning and night-time routines, supporting residents with personal care, and helping them maintain as much independence as possible. You will also be expected to carry out general housekeeping duties, maintain health and safety standards, report condition updates, and cater to each individual's preferences and needs.

To be suitable for this position you must have:

• An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months

Typical hours will be;

08:00 to 15:00 with the occasional requirement to do 08:00 to 17:00
