Job summary

Quality Service Recruitment Limited is seeking a Care Worker to support up to 10 residents with varying mental health needs and learning difficulties. You will follow individual care plans, assist with daily routines and provide personal care, helping residents navigate daily challenges.

The role offers day shifts, immediate starts, and weekly pay. A DBS within the last 12 months or facility-paid DBS, plus 6 months care experience and up-to-date mandatory training, are required.

• Minimum 6 months experience in a care environment.
• DBS dated within the last 12 months or the facility to pay for one.
• All relevant mandatory training up-to-date and ideally certificates to show for this

You will work to maintain individual care plans, assist with daily routines, and provide personal care while helping residents navigate their day-to-day challenges.

Main Duties

• Follow established care plans to support residents' daily routines and personal needs.
• Assist with day-to-day activities and personal care tasks with discretion and professionalism.
• Maintain a stable and reliable presence to help ensure residents' basic needs and wellbeing are met.

A reliable and patient approach to care work, the ability to handle challenging situations with a calm demeanor, and a willingness to undertake required training are essential for this position.

You will need

• A minimum of 6 months experience in a Care environment
• A DBS dated within the last 12 months or the facility to pay for one
• All relevant mandatory training up-to-date and ideally certificates to show for this

This is an ongoing position

You will be working from 07:00 to14:30 or 14:30 to 22:00 on days throughout the week.

The rate of pay is £12.71 per hour for hours worked between 07:00-19:00 with hours worked from 19:00-22:00 being paid at £16.90 per hour.
