Job summary

Quality Service Recruitment Limited is seeking experienced Support Workers for a friendly care home in the UK, supporting up to 27 residents with mental health conditions and complex needs. Flexible hours across the week allow you to tailor shifts around your schedule.

The role focuses on personal care, daily living activities, and maintaining independence, with housekeeping, health and safety duties, and reporting updates to the team. DBS and training required.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months.
• Up to date Infection Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and Moving and Handling training.
• A Referenceable work history.
• At least 3 months experience within a similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities such as morning and night-time routines.
• Support residents with personal care and help maintain independence.
• Carry out general housekeeping duties and maintain health and safety standards.
• Report condition updates and respond to residents’ preferences and needs.

Flexible hours for experienced Support Workers in a beautiful rural location!

We are currently seeking experienced Support Workers to work flexible hours throughout the week at a specialist care home supporting up to 27 residents.

The service focuses on individuals with mental health conditions and complex needs, so it is essential that you are attentive, compassionate, and committed to following personalised care plans that ensure each resident feels heard, respected, and supported.

Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities such as morning and night-time routines, supporting residents with personal care, and helping them maintain as much independence as possible. You will also be expected to carry out general housekeeping duties, maintain health and safety standards, report condition updates, and cater to each individual’s preferences and needs.

To be suitable for this position you must have:

• An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months

Typical hours will be;

08:00 to 15:00 with the occasional requirement to do 08:00 to 17:00
