Job summary

Olympus Recruitment is seeking a Restaurant Manager for a Preston-based site with daytime-only shifts and no evenings. The role offers a salary up to £35,000 and a strong work-life balance within a branded, high-volume hospitality environment.

You will lead front-of-house and back-of-house teams, manage P&L responsibilities, and drive standards to deliver outstanding guest experiences. A full UK driving licence and kitchen experience are preferred, with progression opportunities across the group.

Qualifications

• A natural leader from a branded, full-service background with ability to drive standards and results.
• Experience in financial control, including P&L responsibility, budgeting and cost management.
• Track record of coaching and developing large FOH and BOH teams.
• Confident in high-volume environments with a strong focus on guest satisfaction.
• Hands-on manager who leads from the front and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves.
• Passion for turning underperforming sites around and driving them to become high-performing successes.
• Calm and confident communicator, capable of managing change and inspiring a team through a period of evolution.
• Previous management experience in a similar branded hospitality setting (high volume).
• A full UK driving licence (due to site location).
• Kitchen experience - confident handling food and stepping in where needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead restaurant operations in a daytime-only environment to meet brand standards.
• Oversee FOH/BOH teams, scheduling, and performance.
• Manage P&L, budgeting, cost controls, and financial targets.
• Drive guest satisfaction and guest experience initiatives.
• Support site transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead by example and coach staff to deliver consistent service.
