Job summary

Morgana Court in South Wales is seeking an experienced Kitchen Assistant to support the Head Chef and catering team in a busy kitchen, delivering meals to residents with care and consistency. You will help with meal preparation, maintain strict cleanliness, and assist with dietary requirements to support residents’ wellbeing.

We value reliable, organised team players with good food hygiene knowledge and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a kitchen, catering or hospitality setting (desirable)
• Good understanding of food hygiene and safe food handling practices
• A reliable and organised approach to work
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• A positive attitude and willingness to support others, Kitchen or Catering Experience

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Head Chef and catering team with meal preparation
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the kitchen
• Assisting with residents' dietary requirements and nutritional needs
• Ensuring food hygiene and health and safety standards are maintained at all times
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an excellent catering service
