Caron Group is seeking a Catering Support to assist the Chef/Cook in ensuring meals meet nutritional and dietary needs for residents and visitors. You will support meal service and help with crockery, cutlery, glassware and dry foods.

Role Overview
We are seeking a Catering Support to join our family of Care Homes. As a Catering Support, you will support the Chef/Cook in ensuring the nutritional content of the meals provided and cater for the dietary needs of all individuals. You will support with meal service and provide refreshments for the individuals and visitors such as crockery, cutlery, glassware and dry foods etc.
Responsibilities*
Preparing and cooking food or Apetito.
Completing cleaning schedules.
Maintaining very high standards of cleanliness.
Monitor fridge / freezer temperatures.
Report to Hospitality Coordinator for any concerns.
Complete ongoing file for Health & Safety.
Wash up dishes, pots and pans put through the steriliser.
Keep china, cutlery and beakers in a very clean state.
Monitor stock rotation.
Maintain balanced diet for residents.
Ensure knowledge of residents with special diet or allergies.
Have awareness of the diabetics and their special diet.
Assist Hospitality Coordinator in the ordering, storage and provision of food.
Keep surfaces clean and sterilised.
Keep appliances clean and safe.
