Job summary

The Devonshire Group is seeking a daytime Chef for Bakewell's Farm Shop Cafe to join our kitchen team and produce high-quality, seasonal dishes using local produce. This permanent role offers a 32-hour minimum week across four daytime shifts and a supportive, collaborative working environment.

You'll maintain rigorous food safety and HACCP standards, manage your section during busy service, and have opportunities for development across the farm shop and wider Group.

Qualifications

• Experience in large scale, fast-paced hospitality environments.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, cooking and presenting high-quality food to agreed standards.
• Maintaining excellent food safety, hygiene and HACCP practices.
• Managing your section effectively during busy service periods.
• Assisting with stock control, deliveries and other tasks as required.
• Working with seasonal ingredients sourced from trusted local suppliers.
