Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd. is seeking dedicated Care Workers for an ongoing role in a Derby care home that houses up to 26 residents. You will assist with daily life, provide physical and mental support, and work with our team to keep residents safe and comfortable.

Shifts run weekdays and weekends from early morning to late evening. Applicants must have relevant UK care experience, DBS, and up-to-date training certificates. Pay ranges £12.75–£13.25 per hour depending on duties.

Qualifications

• Two employment references, including one from a care home.
• In-date mandatory training certificates (moving and handling, safeguarding vulnerable adults, infection control).
• Enhanced DBS certificate dated within past 12 months or Update Service.
• Experience using Hoists, Slings and Rotundas.
• Minimum of 6 months paid UK work experience in a residential care home.

We have opportunities for Care Workers within a beautiful care home located in Derby with immediate start positions available!

The lovely home houses up to 26 amazing residents who suffer with age-related illnesses, your job will be to assist these people with their daily life and help them physically and mentally.

You and the existing teams responsibilities are:

• Personal care (inc. strip washes, toileting etc)
• Following personal care plans
• Record keeping (such as fluid intake / condition updates)
• Assisting with the resident’s mobility
• Taking part in daily activities
• Completing domestic duties as required
• Generally being a friendly and supportive influence

To apply for this role you must;

• Have two employment references, one of which must be from a care home setting
• Hold in-date mandatory training certificates (inc. practical moving and handling, safeguarding vulnerable adults and infection control)
• Hold an enhanced DBS certificate dated within the past 12 months or registered on the update service.
• Have a range of experience in the use of Hoists, Slings and Rotundas
• Have a minimum of 6 months paid UK work experience working within a residential care home.

07:00 to 15:00

15:00 to 22:00

The rate of pay is between £12.75 to £13.25 an hour, depending on the days worked.
