Job summary

QS Care is recruiting Care Assistants for a residential home in Heanor. You will support elderly residents and individuals with Dementia, mental health conditions and physical disabilities, helping with daily routines and mobility.

We offer flexible afternoon shifts (14:15–22:15) and weekly pay; enhanced rates apply for hours 7pm–10pm. An enhanced DBS check is preferred, with DBS support available.

Qualifications

• Solid previous experience working as a Care Assistant.
• Positive, adaptable attitude and a genuine passion for care.
• Enhanced DBS check (or assistance to obtain one).
• Minimum of 3 months experience in Health and Social Care.

Minimum requirements for Care Assistants are:

• Safeguarding training within 1 year
• Infection Control within 1 year
• Moving and Handling training within 1 year
• A DBS check for adults services dated within the last 12 months preferably on the update service
• A minimum of 3 months experience in a Health and Social Care environment

QS Care can provide training opportunities for candidates with training that has expired. Additionally, we can arrange a DBS application on behalf of the candidate where the last check was done over 1 year ago and is not on the update service.

We have afternoon shifts available throughout the week.

The shift will be 14:15 to 22:15

You will be paid £12.71 per hour, with hours worked between 7pm-10pm paid at an enhanced rate of £16.90 per hour
