Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Codnor is seeking experienced Care Assistants for afternoon shifts at a welcoming 40-bed residential home. You will support residents with age-related illnesses, including Dementia and Alzheimer's, helping with mobility, nutrition and daily activities.

We require proven care experience, references from a care setting, up-to-date training certificates (moving and handling, safeguarding vulnerable adults, infection control) and an enhanced DBS within the last 12 months

Your Role:

• Specialized Care: Support residents living with age-related illnesses, including Dementia and Alzheimer’s.
• Daily Well-being: Assist with mobility, nutrition, hygiene, and daily activities.
• Safety and Standards: Maintain a clean environment, follow health guidelines, and report updates to senior staff.

If you have the following documents, please get in touch:

• two employment references, one of which must be from a care home setting
• In-date mandatory training certificates (inc. practical moving and handling, safeguarding vulnerable adults and infection control)
• An enhanced DBS certificate dated within the past 12 months or registered on the update service.

You must also have practical experience using hoists, slings, rotundas and a minimum of 6 months paid UK work experience in a residential care home.

We can assist you in obtaining a DBS and the required training if your documents are out of date.

This is an ongoing position

We have Full or Part time hours available with shifts being from 14:15 to 22:0 0 between Monday to Sunday

Rate of pay is £13.00 per hour

You will accrue up to 28 days paid holiday per year.
