Job summary

InPost UK is seeking a Days Warehouse Shift Manager in Ipswich to lead a warehouse team and drive peak performance. You will oversee daily operations, coordinate resources, and ensure on-time collection and delivery processes while upholding quality standards.

You will manage staff rosters, support continuous improvement, and work closely with other departments to maintain smooth, safe, and efficient warehouse operations. This role is fast-paced and impactful within a growing logistics network.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced Warehouse, Distribution or Logistics environment.
• Proven track record in people management, motivating and leading teams to meet targets.
• Demonstrated ability to drive and surpass operational KPIs.
• Calm, focused approach to prioritising daily tasks under pressure.
• Strong problem-solving with practical decision-making.
• Proficient with MS Office and logistics management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate your team to hit productivity targets and meet deadlines.
• Forecast staff requirements, manage rotas and annual leave.
• Own warehouse processes, including labelling, sortation, and quality standards.
• Deliver clear handover reports to the incoming Shift Manager.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Uphold company policies and maintain high operational standards.
• Champion safety and ensure regulatory compliance.
