Job summary

InPost UK is seeking a PM Warehouse Shift Manager to lead the Waltham Cross warehouse team, ensuring smooth operations, staff motivation, and delivery against targets. Reporting to the Shift Operations Manager, you will drive efficiency, plan workforce needs, and maintain high safety and quality standards.

You will oversee shift patterns (Tue–Sat, 14:00–22:00), manage rotas, and coordinate handovers to guarantee continuous operations.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience in a fast-paced Warehouse, Distribution or Logistics environment.
Proven track record in people management and delivering targets.
Demonstrated ability to drive and surpass operational KPIs.

Responsibilities

Lead and motivate the warehouse team to meet productivity targets and deadlines.
Forecast staffing requirements, manage rotas and annual leave.
Own warehouse processes including labelling, sortation and productivity improvements.
Deliver clear handover reports to the incoming Shift Manager for seamless transitions.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations across the business.
Uphold company policies and high operational standards at all times.
Champion a strong safety culture and regulatory compliance.
