Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer in Bury, Manchester to maintain production equipment, respond to breakdowns and carry out planned preventative maintenance to ensure machinery operates reliably and downtime is kept to a minimum.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer in manufacturing.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
• NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent engineering qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across production machinery.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults.
• Respond to breakdowns quickly to minimise production downtime.
• Complete fault finding and repairs on a range of manufacturing equipment.
• Identify opportunities to improve machinery reliability and performance.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health and safety standards.
