  • Provide support across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 depending on daily bookings.

Day-to-Day Supply Teaching Assistant Contract: Flexible / Day-to-day supply

Location: Various Primary Schools across Preston and Chorley

Start: Immediate / Ongoing

About the Role

We are seeking adaptable and proactive Teaching Assistants to work on a flexible, day-to-day basis across a range of primary schools. You will support pupils from Early Years to Year 6, providing classroom support, 1:1 or small group intervention, and general assistance to teachers.

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy variety, thrive in new environments, and want to build experience across different key stages, settings, and school cultures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 depending on daily bookings
  • Assist class teachers with delivering lessons and supporting learning activities
  • Work 1:1 or with small groups to reinforce learning, phonics, numeracy, and literacy
  • Support pupils with additional needs including SEND, SEMH, and EAL
  • Promote positive behaviour and help maintain a safe, nurturing environment
  • Assist with classroom tasks such as displays, resources, and preparation
  • Supervise pupils during break, lunchtime and transitions
  • Adapt quickly to different schools, routines, and expectations
  • Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
