Voyage Care is seeking a Senior Support Worker for Holt near Trowbridge. This role involves leading a dynamic team in a residential service and helping people gain more independence in daily life.

You will support the Manager with day-to-day supervision, allocate shifts, order medications, and assist with training. DBS checks and relevant health/social care qualifications are required.

Senior Support Worker - Holt, Near Trowbridge - £13.84

Contract: 24hrs pw, typical shifts are a mixture of: 07:00 - 14:00 and 14:00 - 21:00 Monday to Sunday

We’re currently searching for a fantastic Senior Support Worker to join us in leading our residential service . Set in a beautifully adapted bungalow, it has a welcoming and friendly environment with a dynamic team that supports a fantastic group of people!

As a Senior Support Worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst assisting the Manager with the day-to-day supervision and management of the service. You could be allocating shifts, booking in training, inducting new colleagues, supporting with supervision’s, ordering medication and ensuring the people we support are supported to manage their finances. You’ll never lose sight of why you choose to do this, as our Seniors are still at the heart of providing day-to-day support.

We’re interested in our Senior Support Workers having both the right experience and the right values. This is why at this service our Seniors should have previous experience as a Senior Support Worker and a Level 3 in Health & Social Care as well as experience working with individuals with autism, complex individuals with mental health needs and challenging behaviours.
