Job summary

Cygnet is seeking a Day Support Worker for Shear Meadow, Bourne End. The role focuses on enabling adults with learning disabilities to live a fuller, more independent life through person-centred care and support. You will work 40 hours weekly on a 12-hour shift rota from 8am to 8pm, with a full UK driving licence required.

Shear Meadowis a community residential home providing outcome focused care for adults with learning disabilities, who may have behaviours that challenge and associated complex needs.

We are looking for aDay Support Workerwith a passion for delivering outstanding care.

As a Support Worker you will encourage and enable the people we support to lead a full and happy life. We work with them to ensure they have more choice and control in their lives. We find out their strengths, abilities and preferences so that the care provided can be as person-centred and meaningful to each individual as possible.

You will work 40 hours a week, covering 12 hour shifts from 8am 8pm on a rota basis and must have a have a full UK driving licence.
