Job summary

Cygnet Group is seeking a Day Support Worker at Shear Meadow, a community home for adults with learning disabilities. You will work 40 hours a week on a 12-hour shift rota (8am–8pm) and must hold a full UK driving licence to support people with care needs.

Responsibilities include providing person-centred daily living support, safeguarding, reporting welfare matters, and helping residents gain more choice and independence. Training is provided and benefits include a pension and meals on duty.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient and able to adapt to individual needs.
• Willingness to learn and follow care plans and safeguarding procedures.

We are looking for aDay Support Workerwith a passion for delivering outstanding care.

As a Support Worker you will encourage and enable the people we support to lead a full and happy life. We work with them to ensure they have more choice and control in their lives. We find out their strengths, abilities and preferences so that the care provided can be as person-centred and meaningful to each individual as possible.

You will work 40 hours a week, covering 12 hour shifts from 8am – 8pm on a rota basis and must have a have a full UK driving licence.

Your day-to-day…

• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care
