Abbots Care is seeking reliable care workers to support a 47-year-old man with a C3 spinal cord injury living in Buntingford. The role involves complex care, personal assistance, and working 8am–8pm with alternate weekends. Training is provided by an in-house nurse assessor, and DBS is funded by Abbots Care.
Pay is £16.00 per hour with paid holiday, pension enrollment, and ongoing development. You will join a dedicated team delivering compassionate, patient-centered care in the client’s home.

We are seeking reliable and confident individuals to support our client, a 47‑year‑old man with a C3 complete spinal cord injury (tetraplegia) following a motorcross accident almost 3 years ago.
Our client lives in Buntingford, a town in the east of Hertfordshire with his wife and 2 Great Dane’s Thor & Mav.
Experience of working within the care sector is essential for this role, with real dedication to enabling a client living with severely limited mobility to be live as independently as possible.
Full training for this role will be provided by our in-house community nurse assessor, who works closely with our clients with complex care needs.
Our client requires regular personal care, catheter care and bowel care using a suppository
The shifts are 8am-8pm, inclusive of alternate weekends
