Job summary

Abbots Care is seeking reliable care workers to support a 47-year-old man with a C3 spinal cord injury living in Buntingford. The role involves complex care, personal assistance, and working 8am–8pm with alternate weekends. Training is provided by an in-house nurse assessor, and DBS is funded by Abbots Care.

Pay is £16.00 per hour with paid holiday, pension enrollment, and ongoing development. You will join a dedicated team delivering compassionate, patient-centered care in the client’s home.

Qualifications

• Experience in care is essential.
• Experience with spinal injuries desirable (training provided).
• Ability to work in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide regular personal care for the client.
• Assist with catheter and bowel care as required.
• Support the client to live as independently as possible.
• Work 8am–8pm with alternate weekends.
