Our Day Shift Warehouse Supervisor is a key role working with our Operations Manager to ensure the smooth running of the day operation in our Depot. You will lead teams of Sorters and Drivers in processing parcels delivered from client sites into smaller geographic areas for final delivery.

We need professionals who can motivate, manage, and discipline a diverse workforce to get the best out of them. You will also talent manage and develop your team so that as promotion and more senior roles become available, you have the talent to build your team.

Interested? We are looking for someone who can …

• Develop and train reports and ensure SLA’s are met for the day shift
• Process MI reports based on work output of Drivers and Loaders
• Manage all areas of day operations, including sortation and transportation, in an efficient, cost-effective manner
• People Management – recruitment, inductions, ongoing performance and attendance management, daily driver debriefs, and weekly reports
• Compliance – legal requirements, management of domestic driving hours (breaks, shift lengths, rest periods), and driver compliance support in depots
• Resourcing – effective utilization of rosters

Essential skills and experience required:

• Ability to work on own initiative in a pressurized environment with tight deadlines
• Experience managing teams in a fast-paced logistics environment is a definite advantage
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and able to process MI reports
• Transport knowledge, skills, or experience, including regulations
• Good communication skills and ability to liaise at all levels
• Flexible approach to meet business requirements
